Content
I provide fun, engaging and exciting lessons that teach pupils how to play their favourite songs and also help them to explore and learn about different musical styles.
100% pupil pass rate for RGT/LCM & Rockschool exams – 758 exams: 477 Distinctions, 257 Merits, 24 Passes
Pupils enjoy learning to perform individually and with each other, gaining skills that they can put to use in school productions, assemblies and talent contests.
The guitar is extremely popular, versatile and also relevant to the music that many children enjoy listening to. This leads to lots of keen musicians having lessons with me and enjoying the many benefits of such an exciting extra curricular activity.
Benefits
Lesson scheduling is flexible to accommodate the school routine.
Parents are updated on their child's progress and can be invoiced directly to avoid disruption to school staff.
Tuition is tailored to suit the ability, musical tastes and learning style of each child.
As well as being such an enjoyable and creative experience, learning to play an instrument can enhance coordination, develop comprehension skills and build confidence.
Pupils learn about taking responsibility for their instrument and are encouraged to apply perseverance and discipline to overcome new challenges. Learning to play their favourite song or performing in front of their class can give a great sense of achievement.
Students are prepared for various performance opportunities that can arise from learning to play an instrument, both in and outside of school.
